Delivery

We process your order as soon as we receive it. We manufacture sofas on an on-going basis for our warehouse in Cape Town. This means that you rarely need to wait long to get your new furniture home. If the goods are in stock, you will typically be contacted within 2-3 days to arrange a delivery/collection time. If the goods are not in stock, it can take from 2-12 weeks before the product is in stock. When you place your order, you will be informed about when to expect your product in stock. Please contact us for further information about delivery times for your order.

We outsource to our logistics partners DPD Laser for deliveries. And they deliver right to your door! We contact you to arrange a convenient delivery time.

You can also save on delivery costs by collecting the products yourself from our warehouse in Cape Town.

Please note: Our drivers only deliver your products to your door. We do not deliver into the house itself or the allocated room. For deliveries to apartments in apartment blocks, the product will be delivered to the door. If there is no street door, the product will be delivered to the nearest stairwell. If you discard the packaging, you lose the right to return the product within 14 days. That's why we recommend you fold and keep the packaging until you are certain you want to keep the product.

COMPLAINTS

If you wish to complain about a product that you have bought from Sofa Company, please contact us within the warranty period. We will process your complaint and try to help/improve it in the best possible way.

You will be asked to send us some photos of any product damage, provide the serial number and provide a detailed description of the problem so that we can find the right solution. Using this information, we determine whether the complaint is based on a production or material fault, or if it is due to normal wear and tear or inflicted damage.

If we feel the complaint is justified, we solve the issue through replacement of spare parts, repair or exchange.

CANCELLATIONS

At Sofa Company, everyone has the right to cancel - although no later than 14 days from the day you received or collected the product. Simply return the product within the cancellation deadline in the same condition and original packaging. If the 14th day falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the deadline ends on the next working day.

We therefore recommend you fold and keep the packaging until you are certain you want to keep the product. If you have discarded the original packaging, or if the product is not in an acceptable condition, you will lose the right to cancel or we request a sum to cover our costs.

You are welcome to return the product to our warehouse in Cape Town. Please bring the receipt and invoice number with you, so that we can exchange or refund your product.

If the product was a gift, please bring the invoice number. You can of course try the product before returning it in its original packaging, but the sales value must not have been reduced. The final sum is generally repaid to you via bank transfer.

When returning the product, it must be packaged in Sofa Company's sales packaging. Please do not stick labels or write directly on the packaging. You are responsible for any transport costs associated with the return of the product. It is your responsibility that the product reaches us undamaged.

If we believe that the terms, deadline, packaging or product's condition have not been complied with, we will contact you by e-mail stating why.

Remember to arrange a drop off time with Sofa Company before returning, whether you are dropping the goods off yourself, or another driver is.

We can of course also collect the products if you cancel. However, the associated transport costs are to be paid by you.
