Ernest is a deep floating sofa with a beautiful and simple architectural style. The soft deep cushions contrast beautifully with the curved legs in chrome, making Ernest a sofa that really stands out. As versatile as he elegant, our designers created this sofa with a slip cover that can easily be replaced. Not only does this ensure that Ernest is easy to clean and maintain but it's also possible to change the colour of your sofa simply and cost effectivly. New covers are available to purchase on our Design Your Own page. Here, Ernest is upholstered with a woven polyester quality in a classic sand/grey melange. Polyester is practical for furniture, as it is both durable, lightfast and easy to maintain. The inner frame is made of FSC®-certified wood, and we use HR foam, which together make the product both comfortable and long-lasting.

Orders are generally processed on our system within 24-48 hours after they have been received.

Customers may elect to either have our logistics partners deliver, or alternatively, independently arrange for collection from our Warehouse in Cape Town at their own cost

For orders received on items that are in stock, customers will be contacted by our logistics team to arrange a mutually convenient Delivery / Collection date

Delivery for orders on items that are in stock is 5 to 7 working days from bank payment clearance.

For items ordered that are not in stock at the time of order placement, depending on where the respective products are in our production and shipping timeline; delivery may take up to 13 weeks. Please check our system timeline at the point of order placement. Exceptions to the specified delivery time may occur, you will be notified of any delays.

As deliveries are outsourced to third-party logistics companies, delivery does not include the unpack and the assembly of the legs

Exchange or refund / 30-DAY Returns policy

Sofacompany offers a 30-day money-back, satisfaction guarantee on all standard products. Please contact us within this period to arrange a return.

In order for any returns to be possible, please maintain the original packaging as well as the box. Items must be returned in their original sofacompany.com branded packaging and in the same, brand new condition in which they were delivered.

Additional fees will be charged for any returns not in the original packaging or if any packaging has been damaged.

Delivery fees, however, are not reimbursed and items will need to be returned to our warehouse in Cape Town for quality inspections before refunds can be processed. We can arrange for our logistics partners to collect the return on your behalf.

This 30-day exchange / return policy does not apply to DYO (Design Your Own) orders, as these are manufactured specifically for you.
